I opened the Windows resource manager to have a look at what was using all the HDD resources and it was listed under the system's threads. but, perhaps something like that.Īnother curious little weird thing I observed yesterday during the update was that even when the client didn't appear to be extracting anything, doing anything or downloading anything, (task manager) my HDD was going nuts. Im not enough of an exp[ert to claim it would be exactly like that. for e.g., if the update was using all CPU to extract/Decrypt the update archive, there may not be any CPU to correctly operate the Network Card. well what if on some borderline weak systems, allowing all resources actually ends up causing a bottleneck. One other theory, but it needs to be tested, is the check box in the update settings where you can allow the client to take ALL resources in order to perform the update. Its far more likely that posting in a forum somehow gives the WG Client some kind of signal that the internet is working correctly and its now time to proceed with the update. That employee then checks off your IP address that you used in the forum, then cross-references that Ip with the IP addy's that are currently connected to the update servers (but are waiting in a queue for resources) that employee then moves the client in the queue to the top of the list after seeing their IP address in both the queue and the forum.lol I reckon there is a guy or gal working at Wargaming who monitors these posts for people complaining about update installation issues.
